Several research and university bodies revealed the efficacy of APA technology through technical, scientific and comparative analyses. MAIN TECHNICAL AND SCIENTIFIC VALIDATIONS
A number of bodies, among which CETEMPS (Centre of excellence for the Integration of Remote Sensing Techniques and Numerical Models for the Forecast of Severe Meteorological Events) and DSFC (Department of Physical and Chemical Sciences) of the University of L’Aquila in Italy revealed and highlighted the working efficacy of APA technological systems through technical, scientific and comparative analyses.

MAIN RECOGNITION
Protected by several international patents, APA technological systems obtained important awards and recognition in Italy and abroad. Among these: Italia degli Innovatori 2011-2012, the First National Award for Sustainable Development 2013 (by the Sustainable Development Foundation and Ecomondo), the National Award for Best Practices for Innovation 2014 by Confindustria Salerno. APA has furthermore collected a number of quotes in national and international newspapers and magazines (EU, USA, China, Canada, Japan, etc.) publications in technical and sector magazines and university theses.

MAIN PROGRAMMES WITH ITALIAN AND EUROPEAN AGENCIES
APA appears in significant programmes of research, innovation and industrial development financed by Italy and the European Union. Among the Italian ones, the most important are: American Booster Program for Internationalization 2014 and the Program of Innovation and Development in the seismic territory of L’Aquila for the project “Smart Clean Air City” (promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development); the programmes “Brevetti+” 2011 and “Smart & Start” 2015 (promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development through Invitalia). MAIN CERTIFICATIONS
APA technological systems are certified in compliance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE and obtained the CE marking by “Istituto Italiano del Marchio di Qualità” (IMQ) certification body.

In accordance with IPPC EU Directive, APA is a Best Available Technology (BAT) because it allows the highest level of environmental protection through a technically and economically valid solution.
In the framework of the EU Horizon 2020 program, following a validation process by an international panel of independent experts, APA has received twice the "Seal of Excellence" certificate under the SME Instrument:
in February 2016 in relation to Phase 1, and in June 2016 in relation to Phase 2. The “Seal of Excellence” is an acknowledgement of excellence, impact, quality and implementation efficiency of the APA technology.
